At Orient Handcraft, we take pride in offering authentic handmade Chinese heritage crafts. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.

Standard Products

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for eligible non-customized items.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition

  • Be returned in the original packaging, including any accessories and gift boxes

  • Show no signs of wear, damage, or alteration

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@orienthandcraft.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or an incorrect item was received.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Orient Handcraft is not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.


Custom & Personalized Embroidery Orders

Because each custom embroidery piece is handmade specifically for the customer, special conditions apply.

Design Approval

Before production begins, customers will have the opportunity to review and approve the embroidery design.

Customers are responsible for confirming that all details are correct before approval.

Production Time

Custom embroidery orders typically require approximately 40 days after design approval and payment confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

Custom orders may be canceled only before design approval and before production begins.

Once production has started, cancellations cannot be accepted.

Return & Refund Policy for Custom Orders

Custom and personalized products are made exclusively for each customer and are therefore:

  • Non-returnable

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-exchangeable

once production has begun.

This includes:

  • Custom pet portraits

  • Custom horse portraits

  • Custom landscape embroidery

  • Personalized embroidery artwork

  • Any made-to-order embroidery products


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the item

  • Photos of the packaging

After review, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement or refund.
